Making a Splash! CPP Welcomes Newest Cast Member Sharonne Lanier!

Last summer CPP staffers David Alford and Joseph Stam attended the Christian Worldview Film Festival in support of last year’s project “Royal Ashes” There, they caught a viewing of two other films that were being featured there, “Imposter Pastor” and the new Kendrick Brothers film, “Lifemark”. Both films featured an actress who really stood out to them, Sharonne Lanier.

It’s a Darker Role for Joseph Stam in New Movie: “Searching for the Elephant”

In 2019, a small Virginia film group that would later become Cross Purposes Productions sent out a casting call for a teenage male to play the lead in its first short film. The role was that of Jamie, a cancer stricken sixteen-year-old destined to live out his remaining days on a hospital ward. A sixteen-year-old boy named Joseph Stam landed the role. The next year he would take on a lead in a CPP feature film entitled “Found.” which would go on to be seen globally by millions.

If you haven’t caught our latest release, “Royal Ashes”, it is now available on two major platforms, VUDU and Pure Flix. Vudu is owned by Fandango, NBCUniversal and Warner Bros and has over 60 million registered users. Pure Flix, owned by Sony, is continually rated as the top Christian subscription service in the country and now features all three of Cross Purposes films.
