Our Goal
Cross Purposes Productions was created to produce high quality story-telling that reflects Biblical truth about the human condition. Our films are created by a “family” for other families to experience and share. We desire to show the ways in which people have fallen and the hope they need to get back up again.
We are driven by our Christian worldview which is reflected in who we are and how we see the world. We do not seek to push a religious agenda through our movies, but we believe that the truth about the world and the nature of God is much bigger than us. Core Christian truths do not require our help in packaging and marketing to be impactful for all.
We seek to honor Him with stories that reflect a myriad of people and the situations they face. Jesus’ love was not conditional or selective. He
sought out people in every station of life and illuminated their condition so that they and others throughout history might learn from it. Through our stories, we seek to do the
same. As artists, we respect and appreciate the value that all kinds of filmmakers contribute to the art of cinema. Although, we may not
always agree with the views portrayed in their content, we seek to learn innovative and exciting techniques of storytelling for a new generation, without neglecting the style and the elegance of many classic films that have shaped modern media.
Our goal at Cross Purposes Productions is to present the best possible work with the resources we have available to us. Our aim is to challenge, encourage, support, and excite our viewers through the stories we create. We recognize that as filmmakers, we are entrusted by our audiences to
take them on a journey. We believe this journey should capture the imagination and leave the audience better off for having experienced it.
We invite you to join us as a member of the audience, a filmmaker, a creative, an administrator, an investor, or simply as a friend. The best quality of “family” is that the bigger it grows the sweeter our time is together.
